Capitol Hill: An attack at the top

4 Avril 2021 , Rédigé par Madeleine Staeheli Toualbia Publié dans #clip hébdomaire

Cleverness might be the most important skill if persons want or have to participate in a social game where the message is always "it was not me, it was him" and persons can get involved deeply in a constant swing forth and back just to keep themselves clean and safe. Normally it is not a solution or allowed to pass to an act in a sense of a physical attack even if persons get under unbearable and unacceptable pressure. The police might make the difference. Participating in a game that has become far more than a role playing while wearing uniform they might pass for the wrong persons in the wrong place and even fines must pass as a kind of joke we do willingly pay in the context of the new rules and as a result of an understandig of the complexity that even the police must accept, even if the role playing was once just an answer with no impact to behaviours in some groups of society. The police has become dangerous in western democracies because of these facts and because police officers do not and cannot accept as a consequence that they are no longer the police offiers they were once. Sometimes they might behave friendly and fatherly or behave like brothers and sisters, but they shoot you to death whenever they see themselves in a situation they are taught it is life-threatening for them. Probably they do use the role playings also to trap persons even if the police itself cannot act independently in these structures where every act has become causal.

As a consequence we might have to ask if the attack at Capitol Hill on Good Friday was an act of vengeance or a sort of confrontation besides its highly symbolic and therefore dangerous message. We have to believe the informations we got so far: The young man of 25 was driving his elegant blue car into two police officers at a checkpoint what caused the dead of one of them. When he left the car with a knife in his hand he was shot down by the police and died afterwards. The pictures show that the front window of the car was shot at and this could have happend before the young man left the car.  We don't know. It is possible to get information that the police at Capitol Hill was warned of a threat approaching and that after one our and a half it was communicated that it was neutralized ("1 officer killed, 1 injured in car ramming attack at street barricade outside U.S. Capitol", http://www.cbsnews.com, 2021/4/3). The question could be where the driver was when the warning went out. "It was not me, it was him": What if we would have to accept that the driver was a policeman?
