Wealthy Mecca

Aljazeera published in 2017 the costs for hadj pilgrims from asian and african countries in proportion to the average income in the country where they earn their money.  In Egypt and Indonesia the average annual income is about 4000 US-Dollars while a journey to Mecca costs about 5500 US-Dollars from Egypt and about 2500 US-Dollars from Indonesia. The average annual income in Bangladesh is about 1000 US-Dollars while a hadj costs about 4200 US-Dollars. Many muslims are not able to fulfill their duty to travel at least once in their live to Mecca. Saudi Arabia invested not only in the security of the holy places but realizes costly and sustainable projects, a 2,6 gigawatt solar project for 283 billion US-Dollars, e.g.. Mecca beeing a place for wealthy muslims and muslims from developed countries is opposed to the religion of islam.
