How Germany deals with a huge data hole in the German government and establishment caused by hackers might be, in the calm an distant reaction of the responsible federal bureau, an example of a controlled new takeover of security measures, at the moment probably still on the level of understanding how and why. It is a scandal to publish without any authorization personal data and documents, private chats and information about credit cards of persons with positions of responsibility in society and professional life - and it would be a scandal either if they were not prominent and responsible at all (an american view based on more transparency might differ from the one published here to name the case a scandal). But on the level of the parliament (Bundestag) it surely must be worse because politicans do have easy access to safe protection. And if unimportant persons who have to deal with unauthorized published personal information could feel confirmed by such a worst scase scenario on highest levels ("it happens even there") it would not really solve the problem to put politicians, other prominents and journalists in the simple light of beeing anybody. Data holes are inacceptable and the fact that it is impossible to distinguish protectioned data in the world wide web in private, professional or confident information will prevent Germany to pass easily to everyday work.
